I closed my eyes
when you said it was over
and I released my breath.
The same breath I once swore
I breathed for you...
still do.
And as my eyes roll back
into my head,
I see my world corrupt.
No beauty in my life
if you're not in it.
So I hold my breath
and
count to my infinity.
And my hell takes over
as memories block happiness
from entering once again.

HA as we all know, I am no free verse poet. Yet, here I am... submitting this.
